BACKGROUND

My name is Sandy Robinson and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I have a private practice located in The Woodlands, Texas that focuses on clinical counseling, working with individuals, adolescents, couples, and families to overcome life’s struggles. I help my clients find the hope and healing they need to get better. Successful therapy relies on a strong relationship between the therapist and the client, which is something that comes naturally for me. I truly enjoy my work and find joy in helping others. I would be honored to work with you, too. I am a native Texan and have called The Woodlands my home for the past 30 years. I have an amazing son, a beautiful daughter-in-law, and two delightful grandchildren. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

EDUCATION

I received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Masters in Professional Counseling from Liberty University, where I am currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Counselor Education and Supervision (CES). I serve as an Adjunct Professor for Houston Baptist University and have developed graduate level classroom curriculum for various Psychology courses.

MEMBERSHIP

I am a member of Chi Sigma Iota, an international honor society for counselors, and an active member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), the Texas Counseling Association (TCA), the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), and the American Psychological Association (APA).
